People and Responsibility<\/h1>

Finca Fuente Vieja is more than land and crops. Above all, it is a place shaped by people \u2014 and by a responsibility we consciously embrace.<\/p>

Since acquiring the plantation, one thing has remained unchanged: our commitment not only to include the local community, but to actively strengthen it. A central part of this story is F\u00e9lix P\u00e9rez, the former manager of the plantation. He has cared for this land for more than 20 years \u2014 with knowledge, dedication, and a deep connection that cannot be taught.<\/p>

To us, F\u00e9lix is far more than an employee. He is the heart of the finca. And through him, his entire family has become close to our hearts. His mother-in-law runs the village kitchen, and his wife actively supports her there, together with their four children. We have known many of these children since the day they were born.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This closeness creates trust and responsibility. Responsibility for one another, for jobs, for stability, and for creating opportunities in a rural region that is often overlooked. Our project is therefore not an isolated coffee venture. It is a collaboration between community and agriculture. As the coffee plantation grows, so does our responsibility toward the village: fair treatment, reliable work, and inclusion instead of displacement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Connection Instead of Distance<\/h4>

Decisions are not made over people\u2019s heads, but shaped together. We strongly believe that great coffee can only grow where people are respected, where knowledge is shared, and where a community stands behind what is being cultivated.
