The Land

Nestled in the gentle hills of the Cibao Valley, Finca Fuente Vieja is located in San Víctor (56000), in the heart of the Dominican Republic — where the lush highlands gradually descend toward Moca.

Spanning around 11 hectares, the finca is an extraordinary piece of land shaped by tropical fertility, cool highland elevations, and a history that can still be felt today.

A quiet sense of permanence that flows through everything.

The finca takes its name from an ancient natural spring that has flowed through the land for generations. It is more than just water: it is a lifeline, a creator of microclimates, and a symbol of continuity. Its gentle course runs quietly through the plantation, nourishing the soil, plants, and biodiversity, giving the land its unique sense of calm and strength.

A Village Next Door

The finca borders directly on an established village — not an isolated agricultural project, but part of a living social environment. Here, people, nature, and farming exist in close relationship with one another. The elevation, ranging from just under 500 to over 570 meters, creates mild temperatures, consistent rainfall, and ideal conditions for coffee cultivation within a shaded agroforestry system.

Fertile Soil. Exceptional Coffee.

Today, the land is shaped by mature trees, shade canopies, young coffee and cacao plants, and regenerating areas. What was once marked by coffee rust and economic pressure is gradually transforming back into a diverse and resilient ecosystem. The soil is fertile, alive, and full of potential — a classic terroir known for producing high-quality coffee with true character.

Fuente Vieja is not just another piece of land. It is a place shaped by history, water, elevation, and community — a tropical living environment that shows how agriculture, nature, and responsibility belong together. Because true origin cannot be artificially created; it is something that grows over time.
